I don’t see a problem with either? Better and bigger TV’s to watch them on. No need to wait for the next one to come out. And what’s wrong with the Hobbit films?

It was a great time to be alive. Watching those ents on the big screen smashing through orcs was really great. The Rohirrim charges scenes were so powerful emotions I will never forget.
I have heard that Millennials consider The columbine shooting, y2k and 911 to be defining traumas of our generation.
I feel like the hobbit must hold the same place for Gen Z. Such a deep betrayal.
Technically I grew up with the Star Wars prequels but obviously I’d pick the OT every time.
