Grrm biggest failure : selling his rights before finishing his books
Imo John should have reached the night king and had a long and brutal sword fight with him, the night king would be winning and about to kill John and then Arya could stab him in the back of the neck exactly like the fight between Ned Stark and Arthur Dayne at the tower of joy. Would be very poetic to have it come full circle and would have been much more satisfying than what we got.
[This is ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUrJdsN_-B0)[the video that inspired me](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUrJdsN_-B0).
[And this is ](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTnSy0wg2diwq8KJh8Ok7bQ)[the wonderful user](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTnSy0wg2diwq8KJh8Ok7bQ) who practically came up with a meme for me. I just took the screenshots.
Subvert expectations? Surprised this isn’t about The Last Jedi, where they pretended to subvert them…by subverting nothing.
Right because 2 hobbits managing to get into Mordor and destroy was much more likely than Arya getting that sneak kill. I hate S7 and 8 but honestly, getting mad over that, is like getting mad over Aragorn (or Gandalf) not beating 1v1 the Witch-King or somehow Sauron’s spirit. As if somehow it made everything Jon did to fight the WW nothing because he didn’t give the killing blow, even though he’s the one who saved Westeros from them because of his leadership.
This isn’t really a LOTR meme. Why are people *still* complaining about game of thrones. Please shut up.
