  1. This exchange was, from my understanding, a joke at CS Lewis’s expense, because in The Chronicles of Narnia the Dwarves actually do pop out of the ground fully formed.

  2. These little bits of him explaining Dwarf culture are absolutely precious.

  3. I mean, they kinda did just pop up outta the ground. Looking at you Aule.

  4. I always find this line ironic. Since Viggo himself couldn’t tell the difference between the women stunt doubles from their male counterparts cuz they all had fake beards on

  5. Didnt Aulë make them in a hole in the ground that they eventually sprung out of?

  6. This is one of my favorite parts of the trilogy. It was so lighthearted and you got to see what felt like genuine smiles and laughter.

  7. “This is why I became a witch and started worshiping Dark Lord……”

  8. Is it bad that I’ve seen the movies so many times, that I can very clearly hear this scene in my head?

  9. Gimli swinging his axe and his bow and his sword and his dick.

  10. is it possible that one of the dwarves from the hobbit is a woman?

  11. Kili is FtM in my headcanon in the movies. He looked too dang elvish. Supportive family, though.

  12. I thought this was making fun of the orcs as they breed like men in the books yet indeed spring out of the mud in The lotr
